We are now looking to recruit a Lettings Progression Team Leader to join our team. In this role you will provide management and support to our Lettings Administration team, and administrative support to our Lettings branches and clients, ensuring full compliance in line with current legislation, working closely with our Property Management, Client Accounting, and Inspections teams.

The key deliverables:

  • Ensuring the team compliant maintaining a proactive, effective, and well-organised approach.
  • Ensure tenancies are compliant.
  • Ensure all clients – including landlords, tenants, and branches – are kept up to date on progress, opportunities and address any concerns with potential solutions or outcomes.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • People management, training and support of a team of Lettings Administrators
  • Reporting to the Head of Central Operations on issues
  • Managing a pipeline of Lettings deals in line with agreed service levels, to include – but not limited to – referencing, approval, property compliance, tenancy and guarantor agreements, deposit registration and collecting move-in funds
  • Obtain and process all necessary documentation for the tenancy, ensuring CRM is up to date at each step
  • Creating tenancy agreements and supporting documents and ensuring they are issued promptly and effectively
  • Actively keeping the branch up to date with the progress of each property and notify of potential issues or delays encountered by the team
  • Processing renewal terms and tenancy agreements
  • Processing legal notices
  • Build first class relationships with branches and clients

Skills and experience:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well developed written and verbal communication
  • Excellent IT knowledge with experience of using Microsoft Office
  • packages
  • Experience of using Reapit and Goodlord would be an advantage
  • ARLA qualified to level 3 (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ lettings progression/administration experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with all parties quickly and effectively
