The history of Alexander & Co
We’ve been selling homes for over 50 years, since 1970 in fact, when we opened our first office. We haven't stopped building our network, enhancing our services and developing our people since. Many of our team are members of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), and our company is a part of the Royal Institute for Chartered Surveyors (RICS), helping to ensure all our clients benefit from the highest levels of expertise.

Environmental
One of the key areas that we are heavily invested in is sustainability and our impact on the environment. We're proud to say we have been carbon neutral since 2022, reaching our target 8 years early. Social
At Alexander & Co, we are committed to fostering long-term careers for our staff. We offer a wide range of in-house training courses and provide clear career frameworks to support professional growth. Ensuring equality, diversity, and inclusion is a top priority for us, and we require all staff to complete an internal training course on these values. We celebrate achievements and promotions year-round, highlighted by our quarterly awards ceremonies.

Governance
We take the management of our customers data very seriously and protect it via robust data protection policies. We have a strong data protection team in place headed up by our own in-house Data Protection Officer.

Alexanders recently looked after the sale of our Mums house, from start to finish that have been not only professional but compassionate and understanding. Julia visited and helped us through the process, swiftly had the photo's taken and details live on their website and Rightmove. We had lots of viewings which Tom and the team were great at and also at reporting back. Gary was really helpful once we had received an offer.
