Steeped in history
First attested in the Doomsday book in 1086, Brackley has vast amounts of history. Having been named as one of five official sites for jousting by Richard the Lionheart in in the 12th Century, and played host to a market since 1218 (which still takes place outside the Town Hall every Friday), Brackley has a vast history, which brings a certain charm to this aesthetic town.
